This watch is a classic vintage Seiko 7002 overhauled by a Master Professional in his field. It has been stripped down, cleaned and fully serviced. Full description below:
Case: The large dual-finish stainless steel case is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use - in a satin-brushed finish to the upper surfaces, and a high-polish finish to the sides and back (I've had this expertly polished and rebrushed, and it has come up beautifully. The case edges remain crisp and nicely defined.
Bezel: Original bidirectional steel bezel, medium resistance, turns smoothly with 60 ratcheted 'clicks'. It's in very good condition and has been fitted with a new ceramic bezel insert, in a contrasting black. The insert has an unusual luminous treatment too, not overly bright, but quite effective after exposure to a bright light. It's designed in the 'Submariner' style, printed with elapsed-time markings.
Caseback: The screwdown caseback is in terrific condition, again expertly cleaned and gently polished, with minimal marks. The manufacturer wording on the caseback is clear and legible, and has the the Seiko Wave logo in the centre.
Crown: Original screwdown ridged-edge steel crown, cleaned and polished, and in very good condition. It's working perfectly. The crown stem and case tube have been inspected, and are in good order.
Crystal: New scratch-resistant mineral glass, which is clear and bright, with no marks of any kind.
Movement Seiko 7002A 17 Jewel Automatic movement. The movement has been professionally serviced and regulated, and the watch is running strong and true. All gaskets have been replaced.
Strap: James Bond Milanese mesh watch strap. Easy to adjust and extremely comfortable.
